Play… In Your Bathtub (2.0)
“Play… In Your Bathtub (2.0)”
“Play… In Your Bathtub turns the limitations of quarantine into a precious gift. It reminds us that self-care, curiosity, and playfulness are more important now than ever before and that we are only limited by our imagination.” —Theatre Times.
Play…In Your Bathtub 2.0 takes place in your own bathtub with tea, scented candles, and bath oil (theatre-stayers may substitute a foot bath, if desired).
The participatory, multi-sensory Play…in Your Bathtub has been performed in over 34 countries, has been translated into Russian and performed by WOWOWOW theatre in Moscow, was featured in the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, the Melbourne Fringe Festival, and (in Spanish translation) was part of the International Theatre Festival of Buenos Aires (FIBA), and is currently touring to other fringe festivals around the world.
Play…In Your Bathtub 2.0 is conceived and directed by E. B. Mee, with words, antiphonies, and choreographies by Jenny Lyn Bader, Jonathan Matthews-Guzman, Juan Ortiz, E.E. cummings, and Rumi. It is performed by Lynnette R. Freeman, with piano music performed by Lucy Yao.
